Thought I'd better say hello, to make sure my account doesn't get purged!
Nice site here, even though it looks a bit lonely..
I don't have a game.com but do dev work on MESS on the odd occasion.
edit: looks like uploaded avatars don't work.. |

i skulk around now and again in the hopes that i can get some real answers but yeah last i heard the main authors of the emulator would not release the emulator publicly without talking to someone else whom they had not spoken too in months. that pretty much killed most of our dreams of a grand emulator done by this team.
so you work with mess right i saw the data on priliminary game.com drivers in mess is there any progress to report? |

A little. I've fixed the various crashes in the cart loading area, and the graphics on some games are looking better.
The main problems at the moment are:
- Some games crash in the DMA
- Some games still have bad gfx
- The games themselves won't run unless you keep hammering the keyboard.
- No indication of where the stylus is pointing
- No sound
In other words, the system is still "not working". |

Added crosshair pointer (so you can see where the stylus points to).
Added mouse click to simulate the stylus touch.
Was able to verify that all the menu items work, except for the calculator.
The game "Lights Out" works.
For some reason you can't enter any numbers into the calculator, although the other keys work.. |

Well looks like I have joined up as well so
Im a game.com fan in the loosest sense of the word as I dont like it that much but yet I still buy more games for it (ie 3 in the past month)than I do for some of my other consoles im really only here to ask a question about it regarding the filming of the screen and if some kind of light can be added to it in the same way these modern handhelds do. |

there are a couple of programs around that with a simple cable or something, you can hook up a Game.com to a PC so you can record and take screenshots, but i can't remember a link to any and information on them of the top of my head. I think there is some link around here someplace.. |
