Game.com featured in Retro Gamer Magazine

Retro Gamer, a magazine published in the UK has printed an article in issue #68 covering the rise and [ultimate] failure of the Game.com. Author and editor Ashley Day invited me to take part with a quick Q&A session conducted over email.

I think the article turned out very nice, and stayed true to the Game.com legacy. Thanks to Ashley and Retro Gamer for helping remind the world of the "lovable" Game.com!

sm8521 Assembler Release

It has been a very long time since there have been any updates! A few days ago, I released the source code to an sm8521 assembler I have been working on (and not working on) over these last few years. The source is available under the GPL.

The assembler is named as85, and is missing a lot of very important functionality (maybe you would like to help!). You can download the source and get some more information about the project on my other website, Kodewerx: http://www.kodewerx.org/wiki/index.php/As85

An assembler is one of the most important steps to developing homebrew programs for Game.com. We're hoping that the release of this source code will attract some additional development. (We need help!)

Any questions can be directed to parasyte@kodewerx.org.

Acquired official Game.com development hardware

Your favorite Game.commies have acquired the official Tiger Game.com Development Kit! It was a bit pricey, but we're hoping it will be helpful in our endeavor to hack Game.com.
